I currently serve as the Deputy Director of the Department of Orthopaedics and the Department of Education at Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital, Buddhist Tzu Chi Medical Foundation. I am also an Associate Professor at the Graduate Institute of Clinical Pharmacy and the School of Medicine at Tzu Chi University. I have learned my wrist arthroscopy technique from Master Juei-Tien Shih and performed about 50 cases. In terms of academic research, I have published 6 SCI journal articles related to wrist surgery and hand disease. I also serve as a reviewer for several journals and contributes to the training of the next generation of medical professionals through his teaching work.

Dr. Yin began his resident training at the Department of Orthopaedic, Taipei Veterans General Hospital from 2013 to 2018. After he completed resident training and was qualified as board-certified orthopedic surgeon in 2018 and started his fellowship training in Hand Surgery with Dr. Jung-Pan Wang, who is the chair of Hand Surgery, Department of Orthopaedic, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and the Director of Taiwan Society for Surgery of the Hand. To broaden the research field in hand surgery, Dr. Yin started his PhD program with Dr. Oscar K. S. Lee at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in 2020, and he started his research fellowship with Dr. Peter Amadio and Dr. Chunfeng Zhao at Mayo Clinic in 2023. Dr. Yin proved his enthusiasm in Hand Surgery and his current research topic is focused on surgical technique refinement and the stability issue of distal radioulnar joint.

I am currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Tokyo Medical University Ibaraki Medical Center. I completed my M.D. at the University of Tsukuba in 1996 and earned my Ph.D. in Medicine from the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences at the same university in 2009. My postdoctoral training included a fellowship at the Orthopedic Biomechanics Laboratory, Mayo Clinic, from 2006 to 2008.
My professional journey began as a Resident in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Tsukuba University Hospital, followed by a staff position at Ibaraki Seinan Medical Center Hospital. I served as the Head Physician at Tsukuba Medical Center Hospital before becoming an Assistant Professor and later a Professor at Tokyo Medical University Ibaraki Medical Center.
I have been fortunate to receive several awards throughout my career, including the Best Poster Award at the Orthopedic Research Society's Annual Meetings and the Patrick Kelly Fellowship from the Mayo Clinic. My research interests primarily focus on surgical techniques, biomechanics, hand surgery, and nerve repair. I hold several patents, including those for a system for analyzing carpal tunnel using ultrasound imaging and an automatic vibratory equipment for strain measurement.
In my teaching role, I regularly supervise outpatient clinics, perform surgical procedures, and train residents. I am actively involved in treatment planning and assessment, and I organize research meetings to foster academic growth.
With more than 155 published papers, my work aims to bridge innovative research with practical applications to enhance patient outcomes. My commitment to advancing orthopedic surgery and contributing to medical science remains steadfast, as I continue to strive for excellence in my field. -
