Yasuaki Nakanishi
Lecturer, Orthopedic Surgery, Nara Medical University, Japan
At Nara Prefectural Medical University, I have the privilege of serving as a hand surgeon and contributing to the education of budding physicians. My foundational skills in hand surgery were graciously imparted to me by Prof. Omokawa. I also have a keen interest in ultrasonography for musculoskeletal diagnostics and have been fortunate to share my insights at various Japanese seminars and conferences. One particular area of focus for me has been anatomy-based ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. In 2015, I authored a textbook on this subject. To my surprise and gratitude, it has been well-received in Japan and even translated into Chinese and Korean. Additionally, I've been exploring the development of tools for ultrasound-guided procedures, always aiming to enhance patient care.
